My Angel Foundation is excited about hosting the 1st Annual C.A.R.E. 5K & 10K Run and Walk on Saturday, May 10, 2008 in Waukee, Iowa!
C.A.R.E. is an acronym for Compassion for Awareness, Remembrance, and Education. My Angel Foundation's mission for the CARE 5k & 10k Run and Walk is to spread awareness about the importance of organ and tissue donation. We will accomplish this through commemorating donor families for their unselfish generosity and educating the public on how to become an organ and tissue donor while encouraging the community to participate in a wellness event.

This "spinner" medal will be presented to the overall top three male and female finishers in both the 5K and 10K run and to the first, second, and third place male & female in each age group for both the 5K & 10K run.
