My Angel Foundation is a very new and exciting registered 501(c)(3) non-profit based out of Waukee dedicated toward inspiring others to spread hope through compassion by providing support to individuals impacted by organ and tissue donation and to educate the public about the importance and facts of organ and tissue donation.
My Angel Foundation was founded by Ted Cochran. On August 29th, 2006, at the age of 28 years old Ted received the “Gift of Life” at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines by the ways of a kidney transplant. His mother so lovingly and unselfishly donated one of her kidneys to him so he could have a chance at a healthier and extended life. With the passion of wanting to honor his mother’s gift, help other transplant patients and their families, and to be an advocate for the very thing that saved his life, organ donation, he founded the My Angel Foundation.
My Angel foundation is passionate and dedicated on being a Serving, Inspiring, and Compassionate foundation.
SERVING… My Angel Foundation is focused on being a SERVING foundation that offers support and information to those who have received the Gift of Life and their families, individuals waiting for the Gift of Life and loved ones of those who have given the Gift of Life.
INSPIRING… My Angel Foundation is passionate about INSPIRING individuals by communicating the importance, immediacy, and facts of organ and tissue donation. My Angel Foundation is also passionate about educating the public on the process of becoming a registered organ donor.
COMPASSIONATE… My Angel Foundation is devoted on being COMPASSIONATE by encouraging the public to spread hope through compassion.
